My biggest challenge when it came to the job search was that I was doing exactly what everyone else was: applying to 100+ applications, waiting to hear back, adjusting my resume constantly, and maybe getting 1 or 2 phone screens a month to positions that didn't even align with my goals and values. I finally decided to pull the trigger and invest in myself and signed up for the CC coaching program.
The most valuable part of the course for me was the consistent support from my mentor, Forrest. He was extremely knowledgeable through every step of the process and had great advice and recommendations as I had to consistently navigate difficulties. There was also a ton of value that I gained from the DJS course as well, especially the VVP. At the end of the day, I really think that going the extra distance and creating a specifically-tailored project to present to the hiring team to address their current challenges or showcase specific skills I have was the final push to get my interview to an offer.
Overall, I'm forever indebted to the CC team and wouldn't be where I am today without their help. The course, mentorship, and overall professionalism and expertise is priceless and if you're willing to continue to put in the work, you will be successful and get to where you want (and deserve!) to be.
